Black holes are fascinating. They’re like the Sasquatch of space exploration - except for the fact that they’re real. Black holes contain a level of mystery unsurpassed by anything else in the universe due to how little we know about them, which seems to be the main reason people are obsessed with them.

The questions are endless:

What are black holes?

What causes them?

Are black holes just wormholes to another dimension?

The reality is that we have some of the answers, but we’ve only begun to scratch the surface. A couple of years ago, YouTube channel Vsauce released this video about black holes which really covers a lot of information in a digestible format, and even helps illustrate what would happen if you fell into a black hole.
