About louder space

Louder Space was started to help make space news easier to digest, in the hopes that more people will get excited by the idea of exploring the cosmos - and ask for more.

Space exploration is severely underfunded. NASA's yearly budget comes in at around $18 billion, a mere 3% of the U.S. military's $600 billion budget and a measly 0.47% of the overall federal budget.

Thanks to the private sector we are beginning to make progress, but until there is an overwhelming public demand for more research, there's only so much scientists can accomplish.

Louder Space is not run by scientists - just enthusiasts trying to report on important space news in an easy-to-understand format. If any errors are spotted, we'd like to correct them immediately. Please contact us at admin@louder-space.com if you see an error!
